DG is a contemporary artist exploring dimensions without depth or limitation that reflect the unnatural and spiritual realm of the human condition. Similar to the way AI might add a digital layer on top of a fleshy body or perhaps bodies that simultaneously exist on the space and time continuum, DG is always playing with life and death, often harkening back to ancestors while at the same time reaching for the unknown future, but most importantly looking for beauty in between the lines.
Music
DG has been a professional touring musician for over 25 years, performing throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. Together with his wife, who was his Highschool sweetheart, DG has explored the world and seen both immense beauty and destruction, sometimes one in the same. His experience on the road has continually focused DG‘s eye on the canvas. A world of contradictions conjoined to capture both a joyful expression of love and one of great loss. His time traveling the world as a musician has given him a unique perspective and voice and it enables him to capture the most beautiful and strange imperfections that many would overlook. You will often see and feel sound reverberating from the canvas or circling in his kinetic sculptures but you can hear the actual music directly from ”The Grahams“.
